ReqMan™ Tender Management and Request for Proposal (RFP) solution
The Challenge
Vendors often respond to a tender in different media formats, such as paper documents, Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, and Microsoft Word documents. And they often change or reorganize the tender information you provided, thereby making it difficult to compare and analyze their responses to requirements. Managing multiple proposals can be time consuming and cumbersome, especially if suppliers are in different geographic regions and if suppliers construct proposals using different styles. After a final decision is made about a specific vendor, it’s also difficult to document and trace exactly why you selected that vendor.
The Solution
Because ReqMan™ displays requirements to vendors in a way predetermined by you, responses are in one format and are much easier to track. And because both you and the vendor can add documents and comments to each requirement in the ReqMan system, there’s a built-in history of each requirement, how the vendor intends to comply with that requirement, and how each vendor’s response to a requirement compare to each other. Using the ReqMan™ Workflow module, you can set up task lists for your team to track the assessment of each vendor’s requirement response and to track what factors led to the choice of one vendor over another on a requirement by requirement basis.
