Step-by-step instructions for setting permissions for a user

  • Log-in to ReqMan.
  • Expand your project in the tree menu.
  • Expand the User module in the tree menu.
  • Select Manager.
  • Click on a group that contains users.
  • Click on one of the listed users on the right.
  • Click "Manage". The permissions that are currently assigned to the user are listed. When a user is first created, there are no permissions assigned.
  • Select if you want to create permissions for the current project, specifications or requirements.
  • Click “add permissions”.
  • Tick "Reader" or "Admin" (write) permission. Tip: Because of inheritance, permissions added at a higher level are automatically applied at the lower level(s).
  • Click save.
  • Click Close.
