Step-by-step instructions for creating a user group and connecting a user to a group

To create a new group

  • Log-in to ReqMan.
  • Expand your project in the tree menu on the left.
  • Expand the User module in the tree menu.
  • Click manager.
  • Enter a name for your new group and click "Add".
  • You can create a sub-group by first clicking on an existing group before you add the new group.

Tip: User groups are useful if your project has many users and you want to group them for clarity.

To connect a user to a group

  • Click on the name of a user in the table.
  • Click "Modify" and click on the group you want the user to be part of.

To see users for a group

  • Click on the group.
